# What You'll Need:
→ Donuts
01 - 36 mini plain or glazed donuts (store-bought or homemade)
→ Decorations
02 - 2 cups powdered sugar
03 - 3 to 4 tablespoons milk
04 - Food coloring (red, green, blue, gold, silver, as desired)
05 - Sprinkles, edible glitter, or colored sugar
06 - Assorted candies such as mini M&Ms and silver dragees
07 - Mini pretzel sticks or chocolate sticks for ornament hooks
→ Assembly
08 - 1 large food-safe foam or cardboard cone, approximately 12 to 14 inches tall
09 - Toothpicks
# Directions:
01 - In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar with milk, adding the milk gradually until a thick but pourable glaze forms. Divide into small bowls and tint each with the desired food coloring.
02 - Dip or drizzle each mini donut with the colored icing. While wet, garnish with sprinkles, edible glitter, and assorted candies to resemble Christmas ornaments. Allow to set for 10 to 15 minutes.
03 - Wrap the foam or cardboard cone in food-safe wrap or parchment paper to prepare for assembly.
04 - Starting at the base, secure decorated donuts to the cone using toothpicks, working upwards with slight overlap to fully cover the cone surface.
05 - Insert mini pretzel sticks or chocolate sticks into the top of each donut to simulate ornament hooks or caps.
06 - Optionally, dust the assembled tower with additional edible glitter to enhance the festive sparkle.
