# What You'll Need:

→ Watermelon Shark

01 - 1 large seedless watermelon
02 - 2 blueberries for eyes
03 - 2 apple or banana slices for eye whites
04 - 1 small paring knife for carving

→ Fruit Filling & Board Garnish

05 - 2 cups seedless green grapes
06 - 2 cups seedless red grapes
07 - 1 pint blueberries
08 - 1 pint hulled and halved strawberries
09 - 2 peeled and sliced kiwis
10 - 2 peeled and segmented oranges
11 - 1 cup pineapple chunks
12 - ½ cup blackberries
13 - 1 cup cantaloupe balls or cubes
14 - 1 cup honeydew balls or cubes
15 - Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

→ Extras (optional)

16 - 1 cup gummy fish or sharks for decoration
17 - ½ cup mini marshmallows to mimic bubbles

# Directions:

01 - Trim a thin slice off the watermelon bottom to stabilize it. Cut approximately one-third off one end at an angle to form the shark's mouth opening. Scoop out the flesh from this section, reserving it for the filling.
02 - Use a paring knife to carve jagged teeth along the mouth edge. Secure apple or banana slices with toothpicks above the mouth for eyes and place a blueberry in the center of each as the pupils.
03 - Dice the reserved watermelon flesh into bite-sized pieces. Combine with grapes, blueberries, strawberries, orange segments, pineapple, blackberries, cantaloupe, and honeydew.
04 - Fill the shark's mouth with the fruit mixture to simulate bait. Artfully arrange remaining fruits and melon balls around the shark on a large serving board, alternating colors and shapes for an attractive presentation. Optionally, add gummy fish, marshmallows, and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
05 - Present immediately with small tongs, toothpicks, or forks for easy selection.
